Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: </div> <bR> <div> 2.   There is nothing more important than being prepared to meet God. Many would ask if there is any way you can know for sure. </div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">God says "Yes! You can know!" 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. </div> <bR> <div> 1.   Many people think that being a good person is what they need to get to Heaven, but God says there is no one who is good. </div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: </div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Romans 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. </div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; </div> <bR> <div> 1.   God says we are all sinners and there is a punishment to be paid for that sin.</div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Romans 6:23a For the wages of sin <I>is</I> death; </div> <bR> <div> 1.   Jesus Christ died for each and every one of us do not HAVE to go to Hell.</div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">John 3:16 <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Arial" >For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.</FONT></div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.</div> <bR> <div> 1.  This same Jesus shed his precious blood to wash our sin away.</div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, <I>even</I> the forgiveness of sins:</div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Three days later after giving his life on Calvary, He arose from the dead.</div> <bR> <div> 1.   God says we MUST believe this not only with our mind, but with our whole heart. Enough to trust him</div> <div>       with our whole life both now and in eternity. </div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. </div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">God says that you must repent in order to be saved (Luke 13:3 <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Arial" >I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.</FONT>), but that is not a work on our part. Even repentance comes from God. Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that <U>the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?</U></div> <bR> <div> 1.  Repentance is sorrow for your sins and that you have a desire to turn from sin to Christ and receive him as your Lord and Saviour. </div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. </div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f000000000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, <I>even</I> to them that believe on his name:</div> <bR> <div> 1.  God says that anyone can be saved. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the</div> <div>       Lord shall be saved. </div> <bR> <div> 2.  However he does not promise any TIME. 2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now <I>is</I> the accepted time; behold, now <I>is</I> the day of salvation.)</div> <bR> <div> 3.  If you believe what god says, then you can be saved today. Ask him to come into your heart. Turn from your sin to him, and trust him to do the rest. There is no special prayer needed nor any magic words.
